‘B2B’ is an abbreviation commonly used for ‘Business to Business’.
It refers to any business that is targeting other businesses as potential customers.
An example of a B2B business would be office equipment suppliers. They are mostly targeting businesses with offices instead of targeting the average Joe who is unlikely to be buying office equipment regularly.
A B2B website is different from your average website as it is usually more focused on lead generation – acting as a starting point for a potential sale.
As B2B websites are normally handling volume instead of single sales they may not list their prices on their website as the price is often dictated on a case-by-case basis by the volume or regularity of their purchase.
And normally, if the prices are listed on the website at all then they are more likely to show the ex.VAT price.
