Easter is very nearly here so why not celebrate Easter with Nachos!
Step 1: Pre-heat your oven – around 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. Then place ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon with ¼ cup of caster sugar in a bowl.
Step 2: Brush 8 tortillas with melted butter on both sides and sprinkle them evenly with the cinnamon sugar mix you have created in Step 1.
Step 3: Cut each tortilla into wedges and place on a baking sheet. Bake them in the pre-heated oven until the edges are lightly browned. This should take 10-12 minutes depending on the strength of your oven.
Step 4: Whilst the tortillas are baking and then cooling, melt chocolate of your choice, preferably in a small saucepan over a low heat to ensure that it doesn’t burn.
Step 5: When the tortillas are cool to the touch, place on a place and drizzle with the slightly cooled melted chocolate.
You can add a little more to these Easter Nachos by including some sliced fruits such as strawberries, a little vanilla ice cream, or even some simple icing sugar. Don’t forget, you can always forgo melting the chocolate and spoon some Nutella on top instead.
Bon Appetite.
