Now Christmas is very nearly over and people are looking forward to ringing in the New Year, how can your business join in with this feeling to help launch you into January with some momentum.
Luckily for you we have put together a list of possible activities that your business could undertake to help push you into 2020.
Option #1: Inspiring Quotes
Start as you mean to go on. Refreshed, motivated and raring to go.
Join in with your customers and their new year’s resolutions. Post an inspirational quote or goal for 2020, perhaps even get them to share their quotes or plans for 2020 to help encourage engagement.
Option #2: New Year equals a New Product/Service
After Christmas people like to see something new.
If you have a new product or service that you can offer, then now is the time to release it.
If you can bunch complementary products together as a package for your customers, then that would be a great addition.
If you have a new offer or promotion to run through January, then that would give you something to promote and launch your sales in 2020 with.
A new year, new (insert name of product or service) promotion is ideal.
Option #3: Look to your Customers
A new year is a chance for a fresh start. Why not take this time to review your current position and even ask your customers for their feedback.
Customer surveys are ideal for this. Short and sweet is best to ensure that people aren’t put off completing the survey.
You can incentivise your customers into completing your survey by offering a voucher code or free gift. It all depends on the type of industry you are in and what would work for your customers.
Option #4: Promotions
A classic promotion in the new year often works well.
Whether it is a straight forward % off any order, or certain products, rewarding your customers is sure to be appreciated.
This new year promotion could run for a few days or the whole month. The length of the promotion would depend on the promotion in question and how fast sales convert in your chosen industry.
Option #5: What works for you
I am sure there are other ways that you and your business could see in the new year. Don’t be limited by the options we have listed above.
Look back and what offers and activities you have undertaken in the past and consider what types your customers have responded well to. That should give you a starting point, and also help you ascertain whether any of the options listed in this blog post would work for you.
However you and your business see in the new year, we hope that it’s a good one.
